so He also loves the bow that is stable

“Your children are not your children.
They are sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For thir souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the make upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness.
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He also loves the bow that is stable.”

― Khalil Gibran

this is so comforting to me. Khalil's words always are.

infinite, and He bends

man, i have been on perma vacation since, well really about 1.5 years before that last post..

i definitely should have re-capped before now, 2 jobs and 3,000 miles across the country later....

..and that's the end of my apology. the last few (6) months that i've been #NomadikNation (shout-out::Ashlea and Diolis!) have been-- SUPER fun, filled with adventure, and were much, MUCHH appreciated.

Some of my adventures took place in:

Arizona >>Nice early morning scenery, but also the state I probably paid the least attention to as I was too wrapped up in my Leaving Los Angeles thoughts and emotions.
New Mexico>>Better the first time across the country--disappointing restaurant this time around.
Texas {Dallas} >> Stayed with Julia and lurrved it. Not 150 degrees, Will and Juls loved each other, it was a great trip.
Louisana>>Stayed the weekend in New Orleans with the Coston's and our little traveling crew the wknd before Mardi Gras--Perfect wknd with perfect hosts, stayed in great spot. Most fun stop on that trip.
Alabama>>Nothing exciting until we returned to Gulf Shores, Alabama in May for Hangout 2012 {Which was INCREDIBLE--experienced official best show moment of my entire run there with my darling seester, Carolina, and Will.}
GA>>Stayed for a couple days before flying out to {Had an AWESOME surprise visit from the soon-to-be Smiths', Mindy, and Mary in Atlanta at Carol's Cafe, where we were lucky enough to have Delia as our server.}
Lake Tahoe, CA >>5 weeks__Jan/Feb..it was wonderfulll. saw some of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed with my own eyes.
Reno, NV>>Met Luther Dickonson, Eric Krasno, The Evan's Brothers, gambled for first real time.
Utah>>awkward.
Wyoming>>Wish we would have gone further North.
Colorado>>AH. 2nd place fav on the 2nd cross country road trip. Denver was great.
Kansas>>Insanely boring.
OK>>Saw a beautiful sunset..haha kind of rushed through that state.
Dallas>>Stayed with Juls again, always ++fun++
Baton Rouge>>Fav stop on this trip! Stayed with Collier, such a good/fun host. Best Food Award.
GA>>Statesboro wasss... well, Statesboro.
FL>>LANDED<<
Miami>>Another Coston+Matt+Fun others trip. best trip of my summertimee
numerous parks, beaches, pups, lakes, tears, smiles, national forests, kayaking adventures, 25th bdays, weddings, trips home, stops, new friends & dissolved friends, concerts, 4 blood transfusions and an endoscopy, and other struggles and triumhps later....
